Tim spent his formative years in the southwest before leaving the region to obtain a BSc Honours Degree at Oxford Brookes University. After learning to fly with the RAF for several years, Tim pursued a career in business, joining a fast-track graduate development programme.
He progressed into managing business development and commercial support teams throughout the UK and later held several senior commercial roles and board positions within the corporate and SME sectors. His strategic roles predominately focused on the effective integration of multiple acquisitions, along with business transformation, profitability programmes and business scale-up projects.
Tim later took on the post of Managing Director to turnaround the fortunes of a struggling £8m business in Devon. After his successful tenure resulted in the acquisition of the business, Tim was approached to join the board of a large automotive dealer group - adding his strategic expertise to the existing team of Directors.
Having delivered several major projects there, Tim went on to establish Ginga Business Consultancy in 2019, to meet the growing demand for his expertise within SME’s and start-up companies.
Tim has a reputation for his energetic, positive, and determined approach whilst applying his skills at a strategic and operational level. His expertise includes business development, strategic planning, profit improvement, marketing strategy, change management, succession & exit planning and senior level mentoring.
